This is the draft Procedure for Consideration of Applications for Additional Protection of Rights to Inventions. This legislative initiative is extremely important for owners of patents for inventions in such areas as chemistry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology, among others. This Procedure may become an indispensable tool for right holders in the process of protecting their intellectual property and will ensure obtaining additional protection certificates for inventions for an additional period of up to 5 years.
