In order to file a trademark application with the Patent Office of Ukraine, it is necessary to provide:

• an order letter containing name and address of the applicant as well as a list of goods/services;
• a duly signed Power of Attorney (may be submitted to the Patent Office within 2 months from the filing date)
• a certified copy of the priority application (when claiming priority) should be submitted to the Patent Office within 3 months from the filing date;
• 5 prints with representation of a trademark sized 80 mm x 80 mm applied in black and white and 10 prints with representation of a trademark sized 80 mm x 80 mm applied in colour.

The procedure of registration may take up to 1,5 years. At the same time, under the current law the applicant may request accelerated examination.
